Christopher R-D Chang

Chief Investment Officer

Christopher Chang is a Senior Vice President of Investments and serves a portfolio manager and wealth advisor with Old Mission Investment and Trust. Chris serves in an investment officer role with our firm, managing client relationships and portfolios for both private clients, and institutional relationships. He specializes in security selection, asset allocation, equity and fixed income research, and the management of model allocations for firm relationships. Chris serves on the investment committee of Old Mission Investment Company as well as the Trust and Investment Committee for Old Mission Trust Company.

Chris joined Old Mission Investment and Trust following his tenure as a senior portfolio manager at Fifth Third Bank within their private trust department in Traverse City, Michigan. Prior to his employment with Fifth Third, Chris spent time in a similar role at Huntington Bank as well as Spear Leeds & Kellogg in San Francisco. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Colgate University, and started in the investment management business in 1988 as a fixed income trading specialist.

Apart from enjoying time in northern Michigan, Chris and his wife Sue have three children - Christopher, Julianna and Daniel. They have lived in Traverse City, Michigan, since 2006. Chris has had community involvement for many years as a member of Traverse City Economics Club, a coach in the YMCA Youth Lacrosse Program, the Dennos Museum and the Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation.
